Abstract Paintings

I am a figurative artist and I use the “Acrylic Fluid Painting” or ”Pouring Painting” technique mainly as a background to develop my collage or painting works on top. But in some cases the results are so attractive that they work as an independent artwork.

These paintings are the ones you can find in this section, the most of them are made on 12” vinyl records, it is a wonderful support, rigid and durable, but above all I have special love for it since I am also a great music lover and vinyl collector. I only use heavyweight discarded records due to their poor audio quality, so it seems a great idea to give these records a second life by turning them into art.

For the realization of the paintings I only use high quality artist grade supplies, which guarantee their longevity and conservation. The paintings are finished with several coats of cristal-like resin with UV protection, gives a beautiful shine and more life to the colors.
