“Lux Ferre” Oil Painting
“Lux Ferre” is the name in Latin for Lucifer, lux (light) and ferre (to bring). In folklore is associated with the planet Venus, the Morning Star. His sigil brings light and knowledge to the human race.
This figure is very similar to the Greek myth of Prometheus, who stole the sacred fire of knowledge from Zeus to deliver it to men and was therefore punished by God.
