“Elentári” Ink Drawing & Watercolor

“Elentári” Ink Drawing & Watercolor.

Varda Elentári is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Silmarillion, was a Valië, the wife of Manwë and Queen of the Valar. Elves loved and revered her most of all the Valar because she created the stars, which the Elves beheld when they first awoke. In Quenya, ‘Queen of the Stars’ is Elentári, and this was how Varda was generally known by the Elves of Middle-earth, but in Sindarin was known as Elbereth Gilthoniel.
